Cleaning

...because dirt is not just dirt

Dirt crusts disfigure a building and offers no protection for a façade. Thanks to its large inner surface, a layer of dirt is an excellent absorber of moisture and pollutants. These usually react to the underside of the incrustation and cause damage to the building, even when it is initially concealed under the crust.

The general principle behind acidic cleaning is always the same: the acidic components penetrate or infiltrate the dirt crust from behind causing it to dissolve. The surfactants allow the surface to be moistened, encapsulate the dirt and allow it to be washed off. Remmers BFA works differently and are easy to use. It serves to remove all types of biological contamination and acts as a protective layer to prevent more dirt collecting.

The Remmers Rotec swirl blasting technique is a further development of the so-called ‘Jos’ method: the effectiveness of the cleaning has remained the same, however the nozzle wear is greatly reduced.
