High levels of humidity/condensation accumulation

Inner insulation against heat bridges

A basic prerequisite for successful restoration is the remedy of the causes of the mould infestation. On-site construction damage must be remedied and the users of the room must be informed about how mould infestation can be avoided in the future.
New render with a sulphate-resistant
SP Top SL with high capillary conductivity and a high water absorption capability should be applied to prevent condensation processes.

To avoid mould infestation, the so-called ‘Hygienic minimum heat insulation’ needs to be created at every point on indoor surfaces, i.e. according to the definition of the DIN 4108, the indoor minimum surface temperature must be at least 12.6°C and the relative humidity on the wall surface may not exceed 70%.
