- Short description
- Owing to the building’s age, there were high levels of dirt on the limestone in the inner courtyard. The façade needed to be cleaned in a way that would not have a major impact on visitor numbers. It also needed to be ensured that the museum’s exhibition rooms would not be negatively affected by the refurbishment work, e.g. as a result of dust and dirt.
