Eurogast Grissemann

With the acquisition of the AGM site in Bludenz, Eurogast is expanding its operations. The building there, which is now 30 years old, has been modernised with a photovoltaic system. Prior to this, the 2,500-square-metre PVC flat roof had to be reinforced.

Roofing Waterproofing buildings - restoration of masonry work
Building type:
Commercial buildings
Short description
The challenge was to restore the existing PVC membrane without having to demolish the existing structure. It was also essential to ensure that no water penetrated the wholesale market during the renovation work. Open flames were not permitted in order to minimise the risk of fire. This was achieved by avoiding the use of solvent-based cleaners, primers or swelling agents. A further advantage: no odour nuisance during operations. The application was carried out using a spray method. The efficiency and time savings of this application method are particularly noteworthy.
