    Field of application

    • For use indoors and outdoors
    • In exterior areas:
      - Water-impermeable render and masonry mortar
      - Plinth render
      - Levelling under PMBC and MDS waterproofing
    • In interior areas:
      - Waterproofing system for utility rooms
      - Waterproofing system beneath restoration renders

    • Water impermeable
    • Stable
    • Promotes drying
    • High sulphate resistance and low active alkali content (SR/NA)
    • Resistant to water, frost and weathering
    • Preparation
      • Substrate requirements

Clean, dust-free and capable of supporting a load.

      • Preparations

Remove render, paint layers and coatings at least 80 cm above the damaged area.

Chase out friable joints to a depth of at least 2 cm.

Pre-wet the substrate so that it is slightly moist.

        Substrate: absorbent with low strength

Apply product as a bonding layer > 50% opaque.

        Substrate: weakly absorbent

Apply SP Prep (Preparatory Mortar) in nodules as a fully opaque bonding layer.

Alternative: apply product as a scratch coat (contact layer).

        Substrate: mineral waterproofing grout

Apply SP Prep (Preparatory Mortar) in nodules to the last grouting layer while wet as a fully opaque bonding layer.

    • Application
      • Mortar cover / Filling knife / Trowel application / Application by spraying
      • Application temperature: min. 5 °C max. 30 °C
      • Application requirements

Temperature of the material, air and substrate: from min. +5 °C to max. +30 °C

      • In exterior areas:

Apply product using a suitable tool or machine.

        Single layer thickness 15 - 30 mm

Roughen the first layer with a render comb.

Apply second layer once sufficiently dry.

Layer thickness per coat 15 - 30 mm

Level off surface with a long float.

        Finish the surface once set.

Prepare the surface for subsequent layers with a grated scraper after sufficient setting.

        In interior areas:

Create contact layer with WP Sulfatex.

Apply product using a suitable tool or machine.

Apply two layers of the product, making each layer at least 20 mm thick.

For the subsequent filler layer, the surface must be roughened, e.g. with a grated scrape, once it has started to harden.

        Condensate buffer

After 2 - 7 days apply the moisture-regulating filler Remmers WP Top SLS (0254) with a thickness of 5 mm.

    • Application instructions
      • Once it has hardened, mortar must not be made workable again by adding either water or more wet mortar.

Protect wet mortar surfaces against frost, rain and drying out too quickly for at least 4 days.

Hairline/shrinkage cracks are safe and are not cause for complaint as they do not impair the properties of the mortar.

    • Working tools / cleaning
      • Mortar cover / Filling knife / Trowel application / Application by spraying
