    • Preparation
      • Substrate requirements

Clean, dust-free and capable of supporting a load.

      • Preparations

To create a bonded screed, clean the substrate and remove any layers that are not capable of supporting a load (e.g. by steel shot blasting, milling, brushing).

    • Application
      • Application temperature: min. 5 °C max. 30 °C
      • Mortar cover / Filling knife / Trowel application
      • Machine working

Add 2% of ZM VS - approx. 0.5 l per sack - to the mixing water.

        Bonding layer for bonded screeds

Mixing liquid comprising ZM HF [basic] + water in a ratio of 1:2.

        Mix 1 part screed fast-acting cement + 1 part quartz sand 0.2 - 2.0 mm.

Add the mixing liquid until a homogeneous slurry is obtained.

        Applying the bonding layer

Brush the entire surface area of the bonding layer to min. 1 mm.

        Apply the screed wet-on-wet.

        Applying the fast-acting screed

Immediately apply the prepared mixture to the substrate and quickly spread, compact and rub to achieve the required layer thickness.

Divide up large surfaces using construction joints.

False joints and movement joints should be provided and used in the same manner as for conventional cement screeds.

    • Application instructions
      • Once it has hardened, mortar must not be made workable again by adding either water or more wet mortar.

Protect the screed against rapid dehydration (wind and sun).

Check the residual moisture level before fitting moisture-sensitive coverings.

    • Working tools / cleaning
      • Mortar cover / Filling knife / Trowel application
      • Clean tools with water while the material is still fresh.

    • Storage / shelf life
