    Field of application

    • For use indoors
    • For professional users only
    • Interior wood
    • Only on small sections of exterior wood
    • Strengthening wood components that have been weakened by fungal and insect attack
    • Preservation of historic wood elements (e.g. framework, antiquities)
    • Adhesion promoter for epoxy wood substitute compounds

    Properties

    • Strengthener that blocks water vapour
    • High penetration capacity thanks to low viscosity
    • Preparation
      • Substrate requirements

The substrate must be clean, dry, free of dust, grease and loose substances, and prepared in the correct manner.

      • Preparations

Remove decomposed wood and loose wood fibres with a steel brush.

If necessary, treat the wood components with IG-10 Impregnation Primer IT for preventive protection against wood-destroying insects and fungi.

    • Application
      • Brush
      • Application temperature: min. 10 °C max. 25 °C
      • Application requirements

Temperature of the material, air and substrate: from min. +10 °C to max. +25°C

      • Stir well and apply quickly using a brush.

Repeat process while the material is still wet if necessary.

    • Application instructions
      • Check colour, adhesion and compatibility with the substrate by setting up a trial area.

        Ensure good ventilation.

Because of the low viscosity, other processing methods (injection) may be used. However, this must be decided on a case-by-case basis by the person carrying out the work.

Contact Remmers Technical Service if necessary.
