Field of application
- Interior and exterior use
- Connection and incorporation of PMBCs and flexible mineral waterproofing slurries in transition areas
- High adhesive strength
- Special non-woven fabric coating
Clean, dust-free and capable of supporting a load.
Remove projecting seams and mortar remains.
Remove gravel packets and fill cavities.
Clean non-mineral substrates until they are free from residues and degrease; roughen if necessary.
Create a scratch coat of waterproofing material on mineral and roughened substrates.
Refer to the current Technical Data Sheet for detailed information on the single products.
Temperature of the material, air and substrate: from min. +5 °C to max. +30 °C
Affix directly to the prepared substrate.
In corner areas, notch the tape and stick it down so that it is overlapping.
Apply the waterproofing material over the entire surface of the tape.
If the silicone film will not detach from the butyl tape, do not pull on it any more. Carefully loosen the stuck area from the tape before continuing to pull the film. Adhesion may occur due to pressure points in the butyl as a result of incorrect use.
Permissible working temperatures depend on the properties of the waterproofing products used but should never be less than +5 °C.
Apply the waterproofing material crosswise in relation to the tape. The tape must not be damaged.
Working tools / cleaning
For cutting: scissors or knife For waterproofing: roller, wide brush, filler knife
Clean tools with water while the material is still fresh.
Storage / shelf life
Virtually unlimited when stored dry at room temperature and protected from direct sunlight.
Roller must be stored upright to prevent pressure points.
