Solvent-based adhesion promoter
Product specifications
The stated values represent typical product characteristics and are not to be construed as binding product specifications.
Field of application
- Adhesion promoter in the systems Remmers Deck OS 11a - II and Deck OS 11b - II
- Adhesion promoter in the systems Remmers Deck OS 10 and Deck OS 11a pro
Properties
- Moisture-curing
- Contains solvents
- Single-component
-
Preparation
-
Substrate requirements
All synthetic resin surfaces prepared in the Remmers Deck OS 10 and OS 11 systems are suitable substrates.
The substrate must be firm, dimensionally stable, capable of bearing loads and free of loose constituents, dust, oil, grease, rubber marks and other substances that could interfere with adhesion.
The substrate must be dry.
-
Preparations
If substrate is more than 2 weeks old, sand and remove dust.
-
-
Application
-
Application requirements
Temperature of the material, air and substrate: from min. +5 °C to max. +30 °C
-
The times given are reduced at higher temperatures and increased at lower temperatures, in particular in combination with high humidity.
Apply material to the approved, prepared substrate using a short-pile nylon roller or brush, or by spraying.
Avoid creating thick layers of the material, otherwise there is a risk of foam formation.

Working tools / cleaning
-
Short-pile nylon roller, brush, mixing apparatus

More detailed information can be found in the Remmers Tool Programme.
Clean tools and remove any contamination immediately after use and while fresh using Thinner V 103.
Take suitable protective and waste disposal measures when cleaning.
-
Storage / shelf life
-
If stored unopened in its original container in a cool, dry place and protected against frost, the product will keep for at least 6 months.
-
Usage
-
approx. 0.05 kg/m² (depending on the substrate)

General information
-
Unless otherwise specified, all of the values and application rates given above have been determined under laboratory conditions (20 °C) using standard colours. Slight deviations from these values may arise if the product is worked with on site.
The product cures under the influence of humidity. If the layers are too thick, foam may form.
The substrate must be protected against direct water loads before, during and after coating. If this is not done, the adhesion promoter must be applied again.
Further notes on working, system construction and maintenance of the listed products can be found in the latest Technical Data Sheets and the Remmers system recommendations.
