The huge Carcraft site in Merseyside has over 1,500 cars displayed – over 400 of these in the 10,000m2 showroom. Many cars now come with power steering which is very aggressive to floor finishes. The original floor coating, applied 3 years ago when the showroom first opened, needed upgrading to withstand this abrasive traffic.
Specialist contractors Prestec Limited were asked for their advice and immediately recommended Remmers BS3000 system - a particularly advanced, water based epoxy technology that outperforms all others on the market. 
The existing floor was prepared using STR Power Grinders and vacuumed clean. Prestec were able to apply the 2 coat system within just 24 hours, as the system is also fast curing, allowing some traffic to start again only 3 days later.
