Dunboy CastleDunboy Castle in County Cork has been extensively repaired using materials from Remmers during its conversion to a 5 star hotel.
Dating back to the 15th Century, parts of the structure required cleaning and treatment to remove crusts of pollution, traffic film and green growth before repairs could be made using bespoke colour matched Restoration Mortar.
The decaying stone was strengthened using stone consolidants and waterproofed with Funcosil FC, a unique hand-cream consistency siloxane waterproofer which soaks in quickly without drips or waste to stop future water ingress.
