Energy Saving in Hackney

Remmers Façade Cream is being extensively used by Hackney Homes to waterproof and protect masonry, as part of the partnering agreement to refurbish homes in the vicinity of the Olympic Park.

The product is applied by roller or brush to masonry.  After 20 minutes, the product soaks in and develops an invisible waterproofing effect for the building. 

As the walls dry out, the heat loss through the bricks reduces drastically and in can reduce heat loss and its associated carbon dioxide generated by 30%.
