New utility service ducts and drainage had to be installed below ground level and through the brick walls of the existing rear extension.
The external ground was dug away to allow access and connect the services, then it was realised that no external waterproofing had been applied during the original construction.
From experience the contractor solved this problem using Remmers external waterproofing system with a new DPC using Remmers Injection Cream, followed by Remmers bitumen based Profi Tight system; forming a tough-elastic external waterproof barrier to any moisture from the ground.
