The Beauty Shop in Huddersfield wanted to install a uniform, hygienic and decorative floor throughout their facilities as they were taking over the adjacent premises and at the same time, extending their existing salon to the rear.
The expansion meant that the new flooring had to be applied on three different substrates - new concrete, new marine ply and existing worn quarry tiles.
With appropriate Remmers primers, all of the areas were quickly prepared and sealed ready to accept Remmers Granoflake System in their selected colours and designs.
On the mezzanine area Remmers used a flexible grade to accommodate the additional movement and vibration that can occur. The Beauty Shop was quickly able to re-open for business throughout the extended salon.

The Beauty Shop in Huddersfield was expanding by taking over the adjacent premises and at the same time, extending their facilities to the rear of the building.
The owners wanted an attractive, easily cleaned and durable floor finish throughout the business and so they contacted Remmers for advice.
The expansion of the facilities meant that the new flooring had to be applied on three different substrates - a new concrete screed, a new marine ply mezzanine area, which also had to be waterproof, and over existing worn quarry tiles.
Remmers introduced the specialist flooring contractors, IRL Group Ltd of Loughborough and by the selection of the appropriate Remmers priming products, all of the different areas were quickly prepared and sealed. They were then ready to accept the Remmers Granoflake System in two different colour designs throughout the salon.
