Greenwash in Marchwood

Internal concrete surfaces at the new Siemens CCGT power plant have been protected with custom colour resin coatings from Remmers, despite concrete being just 1 week old.

Offering oil resistance and also able to coat new, green and humid concrete with the inclusion of a special adhesion promoting additive (ADD01), Envirocoat EP from Remmers has been roller applied to transform the inside of the structures to a bright and well protected environment in accordance with the specification from Siemens.

Envirocoat EP has an extensive track record of use as a special coating for water tanks, aquaria and difficult surfaces.  It offers a high build finish of 800 microns and excellent chemical resistance ideal for protecting the concrete in this most energy efficient fossil fuel power plant.
