Priming, Staining and Varnishing with New Qualities

For the first time at the Bau 2009 trade fair, Remmers Baustofftechnik presented four new brushing qualities in their assortment of stains and varnishes. Along with the new product qualities, the new products also have additional properties that make them highly interesting for both professionals and occasional users.

Aidol All Primer is a highly opaque primer on an acrylic base for practically all substrates such as plastic, wood materials, steel and aluminium. The chromate and lead-free product, which dries quickly, also provides long-term rust protection in addition.

Water based Aidol UV Weather Protection Stain provides long-term protection for light-coloured and "clear-looking" wood in outdoor areas. This breathing-capable, medium solid stain for all types of wood is drip inhibited. Because of integrated nano-UV-blockers, Aidol UV Weather Protection Stain is resistant to such influences as UV-rays or rain.

Aidol Color Varnish 2 in 1, which complies with the Decopaint Directive, already meets the requirements of the Directive for 2010. The special advantage of this product compared to conventional varnishes is its integrated rust protection primer. Aidol Color Varnish can be applied directly on rust. That's why the varnish is particularly suitable for treating sound as well as rusted ferrous metals but can, of course, also be used for varnishing surfaces already primed or that have tightly adhering old coatings.

Aidol PVC Varnish 2 in 1 which is for building elements made of PVC also has an integrated primer. The varnish has very good flow properties and is distinguished by excellent hiding power. The result is a silk gloss surface that looks high quality, is insensitive to dirt and easy to clean – and stays that way for many years. It is ideal for renovating and decorating bleached and soiled PVC windows, roof eaves or roller blinds.

With this product, the user has a low-price alternative to completely exchanging the elements. The special cleaner, Aidol PVC Cleaner, which is used for preparing the substrate, is also a part of the system.
